The 2017 Gingham Craze
If you've been following me on Instagram, you've probably noticed that 1. I'm obsessed with Gingham, and 2. I just barely learned how to pronounce it (see insta here). But seriously, this trend is the best. I am LOVING it! Whats not to like? Black AND white colors, in a cute checkered print? YES PLEASE! So I thought I'd share with you some of my gingham pieces and help give you some ideas on how to style them!
This dress is from Bold Shoulder, and you can get it here. Abby is the owner and she is the cutest! The dress is typically $46 but if you use my code "KENNEDY20" it is only $36! That code works for everything in her store too, so get shopping! It's super comfy and fits amazing! If you prefer to wear a bra, I'd definitely go with a strapless or black strap, however, it is not obvious at all if you choose to go braless (heck yeah!). I love to pair mine with Converse or some cute sandals, you can dress it up SO easily or you can throw it on before a day of activities.
This outfit is by far the comfiest and is perfect for lounging around or running errands. The shorts fit amazing, and don't squeeze you at all! There is tons of room to breathe without making you look frumpy either. The shorts are from The Simple Seam, and you can find them here. Leslie is the owner and she is darling! She got my shipment out super fast, and it arrived a day earlier than USPS said it would! I paired it with Free People's Long Beach Tank in Pink, but they have literally a million colors to choose from. You can find them here.
This skirt from Brandy Melville, which you can find here, is super comfy and only $30! They are only one size (LAME!) so I'll tag some other ones as well. This one from Topshop, this one and this tiered one from Madewell. I styled it with a simple crop sweater, but a non-cropped one would work just as well. I paired it with my favorite booties from Steve Madden, which are a few seasons old, but a similar pair can be found here.
This blog post was so fun to create! I absolutely love sharing how I style pieces and what I'm into at the moment. A big thanks to Bold Shoulder and The Simple Seam for making it happen! Which outfit is your favorite? Leave a comment below!
Lots of love,
